Manchester United have been interested in German international and Arsenal star Mesut Ozil for quite some time and the latest reports are intriguing.
The World Cup winning star is going to be out of contract at the Emirates in the summer and United have now given the go head to Mourinho to sign him this month.
According to Mirror, Jose will make a stunning move to secure the signing of the former Real Madrid star in a deal worth 35 million pounds ($47million).
The North Londoners should be tempted with the above mentioned fee knowing that the superstar playmaker could leave the club in the summer transfer window for nothing.
Ozil was brilliant for the Los Blancos under the management of Mourinho and together, the duo won the La Liga title in 2012. The former Chelsea boss knows all about the qualities of Mesut and he is aware that in the summer, he could face competition with the likes of PSG and Bayern (Mirror).
In the current campaign, the 29-year-old attacking midfielder has so far featured in 18 league games, scored 4 goals and provided 5 assists. Not to forget, Jose can utilize Ozil in the Champions League if he can lure him in the winter transfer window.
