Arsenal have recently been linked with Czech international and Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto and the latest reports are interesting.
On 28th November, Calcio Mercato claimed that Milan and Juve are interested but Arsenal are in pole position to hire the services of the 21-year-old midfielder, who has been in good form this season for the Serie A side.
More recently, another Italian source in the form of Corriere dello Sport (press image provided below) have claimed that Arsene Wenger is serious about signing Jankto, who is rated around 25 million euros ($29.4million).
This season, Jakub has featured in 13 league games, scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists. Overall, he has played 15 games in all competitions, scored 5 goals and provided 3 assists.
Jankto is a versatile talent, who can play in the central midfield and also out wide on the left wing if needed.
Arsenal have more than a few midfielders in the squad such as the likes of Xhaka, Ramsey, Elneny, Coquelin and Wilshere. Do Arsenal really need Jakub?
