Arsenal Will Offer around $400,000-a-week to Agree Star Deal

Arsenal have been trying to agree a new deal with Mesut Ozil for quite some time and the latest reports are interesting.
The German international will be out of contract next summer and the North Londoners do not want to lose him, knowing that Alexis Sanchez is more likely to depart (Daily Mail).
According to Daily Mail, the Gunners will make one last attempt to secure new deal with the World Cup winning star.

The British source have mentioned that Ozil has been demanding a pay package worth £300,000-a-week ($400,000-a-week) and now Arsenal are going to offer him around $400,000-a-week.
However, it is mentioned that even after making such a huge offer, it is not guaranteed that Mesut will put pen to paper. If he does, then he will become the highest earner in the history of Arsenal Football Club.
In the current campaign, the 29-year-old star has scored 2 goals and provided 5 assists in 13 league games. In your opinion, does he deserve a new deal worth $400,000-a-week?

Definitely yes. Pay him that amount we need him.

It’s too much for Ozil . He is a luxury player who selectively perform against lesser sides but disappears against big boys. Man U don’t need him & he will find it difficult to meet expected standards . He should be sold in January & bring in Drexler . Sanchez should be sold also but no to bringing Lemar for he is too expensive .

Ozil should not be handed such a huge pay packet, as he has only started to provide some sort of defensive action to his game. Not even 300 000 pounds should be offered. Why does Arsene Wenger allow such a big club like Arsenal be held hostage by two players who clearly have set their sights on moving on after June 2018? I’m sure this is causing discontent in the dressing room, and he is probably looking the other way. Sell them both and get players who want to represent and play for the club. On that note, why can Arsene not sub Alexis, or even drop for a game or two, as his performances over the past few months have absolutely shocking. If that does not open the eyes of the manager, then I don’t know. He does want to be at the club, so sell him asap.
