Deal Close – Arsenal to Agree $79million+ Signing

Arsenal have to improve their squad in the winter transfer window if they are to challenge for big prizes in the second half of the campaign. At the moment, they are 12 points behind league leaders Manchester City.

As far as the transfers are concerned, yesterday, we covered a report (via The Sun) claiming that Wenger is ready to launch a move to sign Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha in January.

The Ivorian international is not the only attacking player wanted by Arsenal. As per an exclusive report covered by Daily Star, Arsenal are close to agreeing a deal to sign Nabil Fekir from Ligue 1 side Lyon.

The 24-year-old French international is a central attacking midfielder and he has got what it takes to replace Mesut Ozil at the Emirates.

In the current campaign, Nabil has been in fantastic form. In 11 league outings, he has directly contributed in no fewer than 14 goals (11 goals and 3 assists).

As per the provided Daily Star link, the Gunners are ready to sell the likes of Ozil and Alexis in the January window and a a deal of over 60 million pounds ($79million) is almost done to hire the services of Fekir.

    Sell the German and Chilean. These guys are reaping the dividend
    provided by Bowman. The latter is apauper compared to the 2.
    Infact all the footballers shd contribute 1% of their earing to Bowsma.
    As for Arsenal,who ever Wenger brings in must help the gunners
    to win. The name of the game is winning and not playing
    fancy football and getting beaten.This is what Wenger is doing.
