After winning three titles under the management of Jose Mourinho last season, the Red Devils have started the new season in brilliant fashion.
The Old Trafford club are currently second in the Premier League table. They have already scored 21 goals and conceded just 2.
Moreover, Mourinho’s men are on top of their Champions League group after winning the first two games of the competition.
In such a scenario, the bosses at the club are clearly impressed and reports suggest that United want to sign a new long term deal with the Portuguese manager.
According to an exclusive report covered by the Sun, Manchester United want to sign a new five year deal with Jose and the manager himself is ready to agree the deal as well.
The British source have mentioned that the new contract will be worth 65 million pounds ($86million).
Jose’s men under-performed in the Premier League in the last campaign and could only finish sixth. This time around, they are one of the hot favorites to win the ultimate prize.
In your opinion, has Mourinho done enough to earn a bumper new contract?
