Liverpool defeated German giants Bayern Munich in the Audi Cup last night. The Merseysiders completely dominated the game and won the contest 3-0.
Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge scored for the Reds. The final goal of the game was netted by the England international and in doing so the injury prone striker injured himself yet again.
Since the 2013-14 campaign, Sturridge has mostly been on the treatment table and what happened last night was another indication that Liverpool should not rely on him for next season and must sign a proven quality out and out center forward this summer.
Not to forget, Jurgen Klopp sold the likes of Benteke and Balotelli last summer and the club seriously lack quality and depth in the striking department.
In such a scenario, Liverpool have to secure the signing of Dortmund star Aubameyang. The African star was signed by the German club when Klopp was in charge. So, he knows all about the quality of Aubameyang.
Last month, the Sun exclusively relvealed that Liverpool are interested in signing the £65m rated goalscorer, who netted 40 goals in all competitions in the last campaign.
Lately, German football expert (via Daily Star) Lee Price has indicated that Klopp could return to sign the highly rated center forward. He stated that Jurgen likes the Gabon international, who is available as well.
In your opinion, should Klopp splash the cash to sign Aubameyang?
