Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is in the market for an attacking player and Gareth Bale has been in the lime light for quite some time.
Yesterday, we covered a report (via Marca) claiming that Real Madrid are ready to sell the Welsh superstar for 100 million euros with Manchester United mainly interested in signing him.
The 28-year-old former Tottenham star, who has a €1 Billion release clause in his contract (The Guardian), could only start 17 league games for the Los Blancos due to injury concerns in the last campaign
Nevertheless, he is still one of the best playmakers in the world and will largely amplify the quality of Man United’s attack if he does end up moving to Old Trafford. The question is, how will Mourinho line up with Bale?
Gareth mainly played on the left flank when he was at White Hart Lane. However, since Ronaldo was irreplaceable on the left wing at the Bernabeu, Bale had to be mainly utilized on the right flank after moving to Real.
We can expect the speedy attacker to play in his preferred left wing position if he joins Mourinho. Here is how Manchester United will line up with Gareth Bale.
