Conte Ready to Secure $52million Signing for Chelsea

Chelsea won 30 out of 38 league games last season to win the title and they had a brilliant back line.

Manager Antonio Conte has further reinforced his defense this summer by hiring the services of Antonio Rudiger from Italian side Roma.

However, the former Juventus manager has so far failed to sign a new left back. He has been chasing Alex Sandro but the move from the Old Lady looks highly unlikely because they are demanding a huge fee of 60 million pounds (The Sun).

In such a scenario, the British source have exclusively revealed that Conte is ready to secure the signing of Tottenham star Danny Rose by making an offer worth 40 million pounds ($52million).

The North Londoners have already sold Kyle Walker to Manchester City and it will be shocking if they lose Rose as well.

Yesterday, we covered a story (via ES) stating that even Man United are interested in signing the 27-year-old England international but Tottenham do not want to sell him.

Last season, Alonso was brilliant in the LWB role for the Blues but Conte is looking to add more quality and depth. We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds.
