Manchester United confirmed the capture of Romelu Lukaku yesterday and the Belgian international will be wearing the number 9 shirt for the Red Devils.
The former Chelsea star’s new team-mates welcomed him to the club but Spanish international Juan Mata did that in an unusual and funny manner.
The former Valencia star posted a picture (provided below) on his twitter account and mocked Lukaku with a claim that he has got the biggest boots ever. In fact, the La Roja star was wearing the boots as well and that looked really odd.
Not to forget Mata and Lukaku were team-mates at Stamford Bridge as well before completing their moves to United and Everton respectively.
Lukaku reacted to Mata’s tweet by replying with a funny and a sad emoticon. Moreover, the football fans also reacted to Mata’s post. A few reactions are provided below.
