Manchester United have more than a few left backs in the team and Luke Shaw is currently their fourth choice under the management of Jose Mourinho.
The former Chelsea boss has publicly criticized the England international recently and the ex Southampton defender needs to leave the Old Trafford club for regular football.
The 21-year-old star has only featured in 16 games for the Red Devils this season and could only start 7 league games tus far.
According to the Sun, Shaw is ready to agree a move to White Hart Lane and has begged former boss Pochettino to sign him from Manchester United.
Luke’s current contract with the Red Devils will expire at the end of next season and he is rated around 14.3million euros ($15million) as per CIES Football Observatory.
Under Pochettino, Shaw was absolutely fantastic and his top performances for the Saints earned him a move to Man United. Since moving to Old Trafford, he has mainly been a bench warmer.
Luke does have the quality to shine but his injury record has been very poor as well. He missed the most part of last season due to injury. Moreover, due to a groin concern, he missed 11 games this season as well.
Reports in the media (via Mirror) have been suggesting that Spurs star Danny Rose is expected to leave the club this summer and Shaw is expected to replace him.
In your opinion. is Luke Shaw good enough to replace Danny Rose?
