Manchester United have been chasing the signature of Juventus and France star Paul Pogba for a long time now and the supporters are anxiously waiting for the deal to be completed soon.
The transfer saga has dragged on for far too long but it seems highly likely that the deal will be sealed. Lately, renowned journalist Amoyal claimed (twitter) that the deal is done. In the latest update provide by none other than Jose Mourinho, United fans have probably got the hint that they were waiting for.
According to Daily Mail, Mourinho has hinted that Paul Pogba deal is close to completion by claiming that the club are going to sign one more player, preferably before the start of the new season.
The former Chelsea man stated:
“I don’t want to speak about Paul because he’s a Juventus player. But the reality is that we are going to sign one more player. As you know, the market closes on August 31 so we have plenty of time to do that, but obviously I’d like to do it before the season starts.”
The comments were made before Wayne Rooney’s testimonial which ended in a 0-0 draw and the Red Devils will now face Premier League champions Leicester City next in the Community Shield Contest.
Everyone attached with Manchester United will be hoping that Pogba will be a Red Devil before the start of the new Premier League campaign.
