Pochettino Ready to Finally Seal $29million Versatile Player Signing for Spurs

Pochettino-TottenhamMauricio Pochettino has been looking to reinforce this strike-force for quite some time. The Argentine manager has failed to lure a cover striker for Harry Kane in the past two transfer window.
This time around, the former Southampton manager must sign a top forward who could support Kane up front and lead the line in his absence as well.
According to reports (The Sun), FC Basel’s rising star Breem Embolo is high on Pochettino’s hit-list and Spurs are preparing a move to sign the $29 million rated versatile player.
The North Londoners were linked with the 19-year-old attacker back in November (Goal) as well and must act swiftly to finally get their man.
The teenage starlet has effectively played as a center forward and also as a right winger as for the Swiss side. He has scored 13 goals and provided 9 assists in 40 games for Basel this season.
In your opinion, should Spurs sign Breel Embolo or look elsewhere?

Look elsewhere,he is not up to the standarad

  2. Woody says:

He is an absolute MUST sign!! I said this same thing last summer and was disappointed Poch didn’t go after him, but maybe he will this time around.

He could get Berahino for £12 million now and I still think he would be one of the best fits for Harry. He is good with both feet and knows where the goal is plus he has played alongside Harry several times for the England under 21’s and they were successful.

13 goals in 40 games in the Swiss league, WOW, that will take us to the next level!

I don’t know too much about him, does look to have potential from what I have seen, it’s always a risk though but could be another bale/Suarez if he hits the ground running.

  6. I’m sure that if we buy him Mr Pochetino would make him a future striker. But, surely we need two more signing for should Harry Kane get injured we would need an experienced back up and their is no doubt we can afford the signings.
