Why Spurs are Favorites to beat Man Utd & Sign €32m Star

Tottenham bounced back from their disappointing defeat suffered at the hands of Borussia Dortmund in the midweek Europa League game by beating Aston Villa in the Premier League.
The North Londoners have closed the gap on league leaders Leicester City who will play Newcastle United next. With only 8 league games to go, Spurs have one foot in next season’s Champions League and the next step should be lure CL level players to reinforce the squad in the summer transfer window.
ITA Sport Press cite reports in the Spanish media claiming that Spurs are very serious about signing Atletico Madrid star Saul Niguez but even Manchester United are eager to secure his signature.

It will be fair to say that Spurs should be considered favorites to beat Man United and sign Niguez. It is highly unlikely that United will qualify for the CL and that would surely influence Saul’s decision.
Moreover, Spurs are stable and in progress while Man United are in transition and will probably have a new manager next season.
Lastly, United’s midfield is overcrowded with players like Fellaini, Schneiderlin, Herrera, Carrick and Schweni and  a starting place might not be guaranteed for the €32m (Mirror) rated star.
