Man United are Serious about Signing $26m Quality Star

The Red Devils heavily reinforced their midfield in the summer transfer window by adding the likes of French star Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton and World Cup winner Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich.
If reports are anything to go by then Manchester United are very much serious about signing Atletico Madrid’s quality central midfielder Saul Niguez.
According to Mirror, Man United are in negotiations with Atletico Madrid and are keen to secure a deal for the 21-year-old Spanish international who has a release clause of $26 million in his contract.

Niguez is a versatile star and Atletico manager Diego Simeone has utilized him different positions this season. Saul mainly plays as a central midfielder but he has also been effective while playing as a defensive midfielder and a winger.
This season, in 22 appearances so far, the La Roja star has scored 5 goals and provided one assist for Atletico (Transfermarkt).
The question is, where will Saul play if he eventually joins Man United? United already have Fellaini, Carrick, Herrera, Schneiderlin and Schweni in the midfield. Surely, they need someone who can largely improve their attack this winter.
