Arsenal Close to Finally Sealing 2nd & 3rd Major Signing

Arsenal have thus far completed only one major signing in the form of Petr Cech from Chelsea this summer. The Czech international has already started to show his class after brilliant performance against former team in the Community Shield victory last weekend.
However, the Gunners need more quality players to seriously challenge Manchester City and Chelsea next season for the Premier League title.
If reports are anything to go by then Arsenal are set to finally seal their 2nd and 3rd major signing of the summer by luring Real Madrid duo.
The players in discussion are Russian star Denis Cheryshev and French striker Karim Benzema.
According to reports in the English media, Benzema is Wenger’s top transfer target and Madrid are expecting the former Lyon forward to join the North London club this summer.
Benzema is without doubt a world class striker and surely much better than current Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud.
Moreover, the Gunners are set to beat Liverpool and sign Cheryshev as they have upped Reds’ offer to match Madrid’s 15 million pounds price tag for the playmaker.
Gunners do not really need more playmakers in the squad but Denis will surely be a quality addition.
