Another day, another twist in the transfer saga surrounding top strikers like Karim Benzema and Edinson Cavani.
Yesterday, there were reports suggesting that Arsenal have agreed 48 million pounds fee with Real Madrid to sign Benzema.
Today, according to reports, Talksport’s Ian Abrahams claims that Benzema is going nowhere this summer and Edinson Cavani is the main striker that Arsenal want to sign.
As per the above given Metro link, the Premier League side are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain to seal the signing of the former Napoli forward. Cavani is rated around €50 million. The 28-year-old striker has scored 57 goals in 98 appearances for the Ligue 1 champions.
Moreover, Abrahams has also claimed that the Gunners are looking to sign another PSG star in the form of versatile French midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Few days back, there were reports suggesting that North Londoners are closing in to seal €28 million transfer of the Les Bleus star. Arsenal already have quality players in their midfield and must focus on signing a top quality striker first.

Arsenal need a new younger more open minded manager who can build the team and squad and let the board take care of balancing the books ans making profit. What did Wenger do during this period he won the double twice with the players he inherited m Seaman , Tony Adams m Keown , Bould , Dixon , Winterburn , Parlour , BERKAMP among others . Wenger wasted tens of million pounds buying hopeless players who proved to be good for nothing because they were cheap and that cost Arsenal money , reputation and prestige .
