Tottenham are in search of a quality striker who can play effective role alongside star forward Harry Kane as well in his absence.
Last season, the likes of Soldado and Adebayor provided were terrible to say the least and all the goalscoring burden was on the young England international.
However, now the North Londoners are looking to sign a top quality star in the form of Juventus striker Fernando Llorente.
Reports suggest that Spurs are considering swapping Argentine playmaker Lamela with Juventus to seal the deal for the Spanish star.
Llorente has warmed the bench more often than not with and Pochettino must keep his compatriot at White Hart Lane and must look to lure Llorente. The La Roja striker has netted 23 goals in 65 games for the Italian champions.
In the presence of Harry Kane, there is no way Llorente would play as the lone striker upfront, Pochettino may have to come up with a two striker formation if the former Bilbao star does join Spurs.
