Pochettino's Next Key Signing for Spurs After Trippier

BPLTottenham needed to ensure they reinforce the defense first as that has been one of their weakest departments in the past two season.
The North Londoners have lately announced the signing of second defender. Previously Spurs signed Austrian star Wimmer from FCC Cologne. Now, they have completed the signing of Kieran Trippier from Burnley.
However, now Mauricio Pochettino must not look to sign more defenders and should focus on strengthening other key departments.
The question is, who should be Pochettino’s next key signing for Spurs?
Tottenham need a versatile star for their midfield department. As per the above given link, they are interested in two French stars, Kondogbia of Monaco and Schneiderlin of Southampton.
Signing any one of the duo will be brilliant piece of business for Spurs but that is easier said than done with rivals like Arsenal and United linked as well
On the other hand, Spurs need a versatile attacker as well. Someone who can play in the attacking midfield/winger as well as a secondary striker to support Harry Kane when needed.
Last season, Kane had to take most of the burden to score goals, Spurs must sign a top player to share that burden.
Benteke is by no means a versatile talent but still a quality player who will definitely improve Tottenham’s attack.

Tottenham need a Lefley King replacement, a central defender with pace who can sweep round the back of the other central defender when he (Verts or Fazio) is beaten in the air otherwise we will keep giving chances to teams who play high balls down the middle, it is no coincidence that many teams used this ball to by-pass our midfield last season.

We need at least one more quality right-sided centre back, to provide competition and cover for Eric Dier. With a little luck, we can offload Kaboul, Fazio and, probably, Chiriches, this Summer – making it imperative that we upgrade the options for that right CB position. I think Wimmer has been brought in to provide cover for Vertonghen. We need to do the same on the right, whether Dier is the number one choice or the number two. Someone like Alderweireld, proven in the Premier League, international teammate of Vertonghen, would be just about perfect. More than anything, I pray we keep Lloris, with Vorm as his deputy. A third keeper will have to be found, to replace both Brad Friedel and the recently-departed Jordan Archer. We will be linked with almost every name going, in the next few weeks. Most of the talk will, as usual, be pure BS. Make no mistake, though, the real key to improving our consistency and league position, is to fix the back line. So far, so good. Another signing or two and we can look forward to the new season with some confidence.

I was looking for this. Too bad it was the last comment. We definitely need to strengthen on the right hand side and I think that Toby would be perfect. Then we would have a great CB pairing. And then a destroyer in the midfield. I would love nainngollan and I think he would be value for money but he seems a bit far fetched for us so I hope we can find someone who can fill that role
