    Manchester United need a central defender not a left back or if they are planing to play him out of position,they already messed up signing Falcao and Di Maria who were not needed then retaining Valencia was a huge mistake,thanks to what he did against Arsenal

  2. Martin John says:

    Man U should consider signing young players who adapt faster into the system. The likes of Depay, Dyala, Pogba and Ikay Gundogan but not big name players who just become flops with huge transfer fees.

    ..valencia retaining was a huge mistake..@titus you must be desperate in trying to commet here. Valencia and young are the only man-u players who have rediscover their form this season. Because he made only one error against arsenal all of a sudden he’s a mistk? C’mon mahn!!!

  4. Obi says:

    Bring rafael back,stop playin fellaini up front, and please sign young players not players who have reached 30, and also we dont need ronaldo if we really need to break bank then we need messi, shalke 04 had no ronaldo yet they shocked madrid who has big name players, just sign players with strenght and stamina, players who can mark and fall back quickly to help the team defend when it is necessary.

  5. Red Ted says:

    First of all we need players who really want to play for Manchester United ! Maybe a couple of seasoned players , but the rest should be up and coming stars for the future , we need dynamic and some beefy players ,as we have been bullied off the ball . Quick attack minded players . So get the right balance then we will become strong again

    The question is, what do the United board do if van Gaal ends up in the same place Moyes did after spending £150 million? Of the players van Gaal brought in;
    Falcao, Di Maria, Rojo, Herrera, Shaw, Blind, Pereira, and Valdes the best of the lot has been Rojo. You could also argue that the much maligned Moyes signing, Marouane Fellaini, has outperformed Blind and Herrera in midfield. Meanwhile, Juan Mata, who always seems to play well when he plays, is a forgotten man.
    What van Gaal needs is a play-making central midfielder like Aaron Ramsey or Jack Wilshire and to forget about playing Rooney as a midfielder. He’s their best and only in-form forward right now. He needs to play up top. They also need a pair of center backs to go along with Rojo, or, if van Gaal will go back to a 4 back set, he needs a right back, and a center back.
    Smalling, Evans, and Jones are fine squad players but they are not Man U quality starting players. Compare Man U’s back 4 (or 5) to any other top 7 team’s rear guard and they’d be found wanting. Who in their right mind would swap back 4 with United? The only player who’d have a shot at making the line up of any of the other teams is Rojo.
    Luke Shaw Johnny Evans Chris Smalling/Marcus Rojo Antonio Valencia
    Kieran Gibbs Per Mert Laurent Koscielny Hector Bellerin/Calum Chambers
    Gael Clichy Vincent Kompany Eliquim Mangala Pablo Zabaleta
    Cesar Azpilicueta John Terry Gary Cahill Bratislav Ivanovic
