Manchester United to Sign Superstar for a Staggering €69 Million?

Louis Van GaalManchester United are facing the dilemma of not being able to play in the Champions league next season, that is for sure.
Angel Di Maria has been one of Van Gaal’s prime targets this summer but he is currently close to sealing a switch to PSG.
It will be fair to say that the Real Madrid playmaker is considering his decision keeping in mind that the French giants will be featuring in CL football next season while United will not even be playing in Europe.
Hence, for now the Argentine international has agreed terms with Paris Saint-Germain to complete the big money move.
However, according to reports, United are not giving up just yet as they want to secure the services of Di Maria at all costs and are ready to steal the former Benfica man by bidding a staggering €69 Million.
The fee will break the club transfer record for the Red Devils and it will definitely tempt Real Madrid as well.
The question however is that whether Man United can convince Angel Di Maria to snub PSG to come to Old Trafford.
For that, United may even have to offer him sky high wages matching the likes of Rooney and Van Persie or else they can perhaps forget about signing Di Maria.
As per the current scenario, all hope is not lost in pursuit of Angel Di Maria still it is highly unlikely that United can lure him. We shall see how the saga unfolds.

Not long a go, PSG was a very small club and not playing in the CL. Some good players wanted to prove their worth and so sacrificed everything to make PSG a CL team. So if a club like Utd is in difficult times and Di Maria thinks he is a good player, then he should prove by accepting to play for Utd to help get the team back on its feet again. That way he will truely prove his worth. If he is that good I don’t think Madrid will be selling him. That’s why I respect Falcao.
