Lost in Translation: What Vidal actually Said about Man United

Arturo Vidal JuventusManchester United newcomer Ander Herrera is already proving to be a hit for the Red Devils as he put in man of the match display in his first game.
However, the Red Devils are adamant about signing another top quality midfielder to complete the set for next season.
Juventus and Chilean star Arturo Vidal has been in the lime light for a move to Old Trafford and upon his return from holidays, reported asked him quick fire questions at the airport. To which Vidal laughed and responded with quick fire answers.
However, words have been twisted by the media and made to look as if Vidal does not want to join Manchester United.

“Can I say I will remain with Juve? I don’t know.I’ll talk to Allegri on Monday and then we will see.”
“I haven’t spoken with Allegri or any of my team-mates yet, but I’m not going to Manchester.”

However, this is not the literal translation as portrayed by the English media. 101greatgoals have provided a different and correct translation to the interview taken by Sky Italia.
‘Are you going to put the Juve fans at ease and confirm you’re staying? (Laughs)
I’m still on holidays, we’ll see starting from tomorrow.
You’re not going to Manchester (United) are you? – (Laughs) No, no.’
Have you spoken to Allegri yet? I haven’t heard from him or from my teammates yet. I don’t know yet if I’ll stay, I have to speak with Allegri first, but I’m happy here.”
Vidal did not give anything away and no one could really judge from that interview what he is up to but United fans do not really have to worry now.
One thing for sure is that his future with Juventus is in doubt and things will get clear in the next few days.
