Torres, Soldado and Co can Forget About Spain’s Starting Place

Diego Costa Atletico Madrid SpainSpain have so many top class strikers at their disposal but all these stars are in danger of losing their starting and world cup place for the nation.
The likes of Fernando Torres of Chelsea, Roberto Soldado of Tottenham, Alvaro Negredo of Manchester City, David Villa (record scorer for Spain) of Atletico Madrid and Fernando Llorente of Juventus are top strikers (may have other ideas about El Nino).
Still even after such quality at disposal, the Brazilian’s upcoming addition into Spanish squad will change everything.
Diego Costa who currently plays for Atletico Madrid is in red hot form. He scored 20 goals last season but after the departure of Falcao, he has taken matters into his own hands.
Costa currently leads the goal scoring charts in La Liga having scored 10 goals in 8 games, also provided one assist as well. Now, he has declared that he will play for Spain. He claimed:

“I don’t get involved. What’s most important for me is to keep on working,”
“It’s up to FIFA to make the decision. The decision to play for Spain has already been made.”
“Spain has given me everything and if I can play for the national team I will do it as well as I can.”

He could have opted for Brazil who probably are considered favorites to win the World Cup in homeland and the Samba Boys also have low competition for strikers as compared to Spain.
Spain’s setup normally has only one place for striker and Vicente Del Bosque should have no headache in introducing a world class one like Costa to lead upfront.
