Man United want One of the Best Playmakers for just €14m

Wesley SneijderArsenal lead the way in the premier league and the champions, Manchester United are no less than 8 points behind them, sitting 8th in the table.
Manager David Moyes claimed that they need more World Class players and surely United are going to target a few in the upcoming winter transfer window.
The title is already lost for sure. For worst, if Red Devils do not sign top quality players in January, then they may as well forget about Champions League qualification.
Lately, Man United have been linked with one of the best playmakers in the world, Wesley Sneijder who plays for Turkish side Galatasaray.
Reports suggest that Manchester United want to lure the Dutch maestro in the winter transfer market for just €14m.
The Devils have tried to sign him under the reign of Ferguson as well but this time they need him more than ever.
Sneijder, 29 is still one of the best attacking midfielders around. Sublime defense cutting passing, brilliant long range shots, set piece ability, he has it all.
Former Inter Milan man won the UEFA midfielder of the year award in 2010 for his fantastic performances under Mourinho during their treble winning season.
According to the provided link, United tried to sign him in summer with a 6 million pounds bid but they will double that amount and try again in winter.
In my opinion, 14 million Euros will not be enough either, if it is then surely Sneijder will be the bargain buy of the season.

The title may be lost but we needn’t worry about Arsenal. They will do their usual self-destruct long before April. Chelsea are 6 pts in front, City 2 pts and I really don’t think we need worry about the rest. If we get a run of matches together and challenge Chelsea, we have a chance but it’s a big if. There’ll be a lot of dropped points between the top 8 and some below as there has been a fair bit of levelling out between the clubs. Chelsea may have won El Plastico but they’ll trip up a few times yet.As for “reports” on Sneijder; where did you see the reports? The Sun/Mirror/Mail?

    • Mirror’s link is there in the article.
As far as United are concerned, It is not that Chelsea and other top clubs will not drop points BUT United look as if they will drop every week. A bit more concentration from Stoke and they could have won leaving United with 11 points behind Arsenal.
Moyes still doesnt know his best XI and things can go from bad to worse before they sign anyone in January.
Draw with Blues, Lost to Reds, Dismantled by City, lets see how they’ll do against Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Though I can agree that MU is playing for shit, to dismiss their title bids after only 9 rounds is ridiculous, to say the least. Personally an AFC fan so would love them to crash&burn this season (which I personally also “forecasted”, I do not think they will be in top 4 this season) but do not dismiss them THAT easily.

Though its a bit good to hear that we are going for the midfielder, but he is not the best option for now, we need a sharper and aggressive player and not Wesley, he failed us when we bided for him at inter, I think now he knows by himself his not playing at an higher level again. We don’t want him. I see no reason why this best club in the world should turn a dumping ground flops, Lukas, Bale, Wesley and others all turn down moving to old trafford when they were well valued, but see manutd as last destination. I wish Moyes and the entire united fans a best of luck this season and beyond. United for live.

Sneijder as attacking midfielder when wat kagawa really is. In midfield play like powell who every english club want to snatch luckly united sign him and is becoming famous with wigan and jesse lingard the two player want to be in first team and working hard to achived that and moyes trying to bring his competitor this is not fair for them they making effort and dream to play in united first team

Y’all keep blaming the coach and co, why not talk about the players improvement? E.g. Some of the players play so sluggishly that they lose control on the ball such as Nani, felliani, carrick and ferdinand. This guys are very dull in playing and they are the flop we have in the squad. I believe that the coach is trying to bring out the best in them by playing them in our matches but they keep misbehaving on the pitch despite all the pressure he is undergoing as a manchester united manager because it is not an easy task to coach a club like man u. I so much love man utd and i believe in their players. They always have this spirit of winning titles especially EPL e.g their match against stoke city was so entertaining. This boys played a very good football despite the early goal and the equalising, they still struggled to win the match and this is the kind of spirit i needed from them but they often lose such spirit in an act of pride or fear. This is exactly why i love C. Ronaldo so much, this dude got all it takes in football playing. He always make sure he net a goal before the match ends whether they lose or win. I think we should all tell ourselves the truth in addressing issues. Manchester united should spend more money to bring in world class players

if u get all d best players without a gud coach u aint gonna achieve a thing. Moyes is a gud coach bt not d kind of coach MU needs, a coach who’ll subtitude smalling for rooney…dat’s fucking ridiculous. Chelsea 4 eva!!

Man u of now is not Man u of b/4, why, pple said is only coach responsible but i said not only him . Yes when u found urself in new environment is always hard to master it. My advice for Moyes don’t believe in old big player everyone ‘ve time to shine, give way to player such as Zaha, Januzaj, Chicharito, Lindgard etc to display their talent let there be compititive. 2ndly seek advice from Sir Alex how he managed those boys to be one the most succesful manager, build on it b/4 you can buy player of ur choice, believe me u ‘ll be the best. My heart was healed by the last match v stoke city. Please what work for you in Everton may not work for u in Man u. Chwuchwu.

Man utd died the day sir Alex stepped down

  14. John Tring says:

It’s too little too late for Man Utd. The title was lost the fateful day when SAF managed to hoodwink the Glazers to appoint Moyes. Utd is a big Club and that makes a top manager a pre-requisite. Moyes not one. Far from it. Being stuck in a mid-level club for 10+ years doesn’t make you a top manager. Of course SAF’s bizarre purchases over the last 2-3 seasons created a weak squad bereft of any real quality save Rooney and RVP. Moyes’ pathetic failures in the transfer market only confirm these facts. Whether Utd buy anyone in January isn’t a critical point. Whether a top guy like Gus Hiddink can be brought in must be far more critical. Look at Liverpool, Arsenal….between them, it’s 3 decades of failure once they fell off the perch. Singing praises of glory-hungry SAF won’t help Utd. Nor will his failures.

Am an arsenal supporter- I ws watchin the man utd v stoke game wth a frnd who is a united supporter, whn da score ws 2-1 he blamed moyse for poor tactics nd united perfmnce in da game. Then united scored 2 goals in 5min he ws praising the players. So I asked myself, y does he blame moyse whn thy loose but praises da players whn thy win?
I think united fans r being unfair on moyse.
I asked da same friend to give me world class players @ united b4 start of the season “evra, ferdinand, vidic, rooney, rvp, valencia, carrick” such players made da list, insinuating that moyse inherited a dream team.
Now I ask, really? Dd he inherit a dream team?
