Liverpool have started the new season brightly as the merseysiders occupy second place in the league after 6 games.
Although, they are out of the league cup but the fans must be glad with the league position and their minimum target this season is to qualify for Champions League.
The level of competition for top 4 places is at the optimum level and Reds further need to amplify the quality of the squad in winter to keep up with all the rivals.
According to Daily Mail, Reds are interested in signing the best young player in Argentina, Luciano Vietto.
The 19 year old boy is a versatile attacker, can play as a central attacking midfielder, a winger as well as a secondary striker.
Manager Brendan Rodgers is always after versatile players and Vietto completely fits the bill.
Last season, Vietto directly contributed in 17 goals. In 33 appearances, the Argentine scored 13 goals and provided 4 assists.
Liverpool already have young attacking midfielders coming through the ranks like Sterling and Ibe. However, Vietto’s addition will further increase the depth.
Reds are also reportedly interested in signing his compatriot Javier Pastore in January. Surely that will be a marquee signing but Reds really do not need both. Whatever happens in winter, we shall see.

Sterling has been total garbage since he signed his contract,I’d send the little ponce to a lowly Championship side to get the sh*t kicked out of him.Spends more time in the police stations of Merseyside than he does on the pitch.
Totally agree. Highly overated, IBE should be well ahead of him, as a sub, I cannot understand Rodgers at times
cause everyone can see that, he does NOT contribute anything on the pitch, he is more consistant off it!.
Totaly agree been saying that before the season started ibe is more physically prepared then sterling why he doesnt play before sterling is any ones guess need to get him in asap before he lose patients

Stop moaning .we are in 2nd and the scum are in 12th ..give rodgers 3 more transfer windows and we will have a top quality side ..for now we just try and win this league with anfield screaming not with whinging moaning negative dopes
R.Sterling and V.Moses only can effective when playing left wingers.But cannot firing if playing others position. J.Henderson much better if he can improve skill about tackle and dribble.2 season with LFC still cannot giving consistent performance.I think he must start playing defender position if he realy serious want to be S.Gerrad replacement once day.This season S.Gerrard very dissapointed many fans.Maybe it is right times to give him playing as HOLDING BALL or CDM.Many contenders players very affraid his tackling and he is very genius to read game planning.
