Available for Cheap? – Liverpool to Move for World Class Star

Available for Cheap? - Liverpool to Move for World Class Javier PastoreArsenal have serious competition to sign former Palermo midfielder Javier Pastore who may look to leave Ligue 1 in winter. Reds are now in contention as well.
Liverpool were interested in many top quality playmkers in the summer transfer market but failed to lure one.
Now, the reports suggest that they will once again move to sign an attacking midfield player in the January transfer market as well.
As per Metro, Javier Pastore’s agent has claimed that the Argentine is unhappy in the French Ligue and will want to move.
He claimed:

“In football there are always ups and downs”
“He has been happy there, but now is not the time for nostalgia. We will see what happens in the next few months.”

According to Gazetta Dello Sport, Liverpool are confident of signing the world class star even in the presence of interested teams like Napoli and AC Milan.
Reds failed to lure the likes of Willian, Mkhitaryan and Eriksen in the summer transfer market and will hope that they can somehow secure a marquee signing in winter.
Last season Pastore scored 9 goals in all competitions and provided 13 assists as well. The playmaker who signed for PSG for an amount in excess of 40 million Euros may as well be available in winter for ust £17million as reported in the provided link.
The mentioned sum is surely cheap considering the qualities of the Argentine. Will Liverpool be able to secure the deal without European football, only time will tell.

Fenway won’t pay the money for him, that’s why we failed to get any of our big targets in the summer, won’t pay the wages either. Can’t keep using champions league football as an excuse. Chelsea, Man City and now Spurs never had Champs League, it’s amazing how money talks, they knew they had to invest in top talent to get to the top. Better get used to it, unless some oil rich mogul take over, can’t see us dislodge these teams any time soon.

Roy all I can think is that you’re a manc red with stupid comments like that. Chelsea and City have billionaires backing them and bought and discarded players like confetti. Spurs have been spending for years and won nothing. I would rather Fenway take a more considered approach to running liverpool and build for the future. How much did Chelsea pay for Willian….and what impact has he had so far
