Manchester United are in search of a top center half to improve their back line and a few experienced defenders are linked with the Red Devils.
Yesterday, we covered a report (via Mirror) claiming that Mourinho is prepared to make a move to re-sign Evans for the Old Trafford club. Now, Chelsea star David Luiz is in the lime light as well.
According to an exclusive report covered by Caught Offside, Manchester United have opened talks with Chelsea to beat Arsenal and sign the Brazilian defender. It is mentioned that Mourinho has been in touch with his former club to snap up Luiz.
On the other hand, as per another exclusive report covered by Daily Star, the former PSG defender has been made available for loan by the Blues and the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal are keen to capture him.
The Samba star is currently out injured but Star claim that he is no longer part of Antonio Conte’s plans. Christensen has regularly started for the Blues in the absence of Luiz and the Danish defender has been impressive.
David’s current deal with the Stamford Bridge club will expire in 2019 and he (Star) earns around £120,000-a-week (€135,000-a-week).
