Liverpool have lost Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona and a top quality replacement must be signed.
More than a few quality players are linked with a move to Anfield and as per recent reports in Spain, Luis Suarez is linked with a return to Liverpool.
Spanish source Don Balon reported that Liverpool want to tempt Suarez with Coutinho money.
The Uruguayan superstar left the Merseysiders in 2014 to join the Catalan giants. In his last PL campaign, he scored 31 league goals under the management of Brendan Rodgers and even now, the 30-year-old striker is one of the best goalscorers in the world.
As per the provided Don Balon link, the arrival of Coutinho is going to put pressure on Suarez. They state that the Brazilain can play in the midfield but he can also be deployed in the attacking positions where Barca already have Messi and another big money signing Dembele.
Furthermore the Spanish source have mentioned that the almost certain arrival of Griezmann next summer will leave Suarez without a place in the starting team. In such a scenario, it is mentioned that Liverpool want to take advantage to re-sign the South American center forward.
Luis’ current contract with Barcelona will expire in 2021 and it has got a huge release clause of 200 million euros (£177million).
