If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Reds are linked with Spanish international and Barcelona star Aleix Vidal.
The 28-year-old defender has mainly been a bench warmer under the management of Valverde, who has preferred the likes Semedo and Roberto in the right back position.
In the current campaign, Vidal has mainly played as a right winger and in 15 appearances, he has scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists for the Catalan giants.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Aleix’s agent continues to talk to different clubs and currently, he is in talks with clubs in Liverpool or Manchester to sell his client.
Vidal’s current deal with Barca will expire in 2020 and it has a release clause of €60million (Sport).
Liverpool’s first choice right back Nathaniel Clyne has been injured and he has not played a single game this season. In his absence, the likes of Gomez and Alexander-Arnold have stepped up under the management of Klopp.
In your opinion, do Liverpool need to sign an experienced right back?
