Pochettino Ready to Secure $27million Star Signing for Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur defeated Burnley in their own back yard to move above Arsenal again in the Premier League.

Spurs, who finished second last season, have been largely inconsistent so far in the current campaign and Pochettino needs to reinforce his squad in the upcoming winter transfer window.

According to an exclusive report covered by the Sunday Express, Pochettino is ready to launch a double swoop to lure the likes of Luke Shaw and Ross Barkley.

As far as the Manchester United left back is concerned, he was brilliant for the Saints under the management of Mauricio before moving to Old Trafford.

However, under the management of Mourinho, he has been the fourth choice left back for the Red Devils and must leave for first team football if he has got to earn a place in the England squad for the World Cup.

This season, so far, the 22-year-old defender has only featured in one Premier League game for Manchester United. Reports suggest that Newcastle United are interested in hiring the services of the £20million rated (Daily Mail) star ($27million) as well.

The future of Tottenham star Danny Rose is up in the air. The England international has been injury prone lately and has not done well since returning to the first team as well. In your opinion, is Shaw good enough to replace Rose at Tottenham?
