Arsenal splashed the cash and broke their transfer record to sign a top class center forward in the form of Alexandre Lacazette in the summer transfer window.
The Les Bleus star is currently the top scorer for the Gunners this season. He has already netted 8 league goals for the North Londoners.
Still, if the reports in the media are anything to go by then Arsenal are once again interested in signing Karim Benzema from Real Madrid.
According to Don Balon, Arsene has a great wish to sign the former Lyon striker to replace Chilean international Alexis Sanchez next summer.
The 29-year-old star has won every major title with the Los Blancos but this season, he has been out of form. In 15 appearances, Benzema has only been able to score 5 goals so far. His current contract with the Spanish giants will expire in 2021.
As per the provided Don Balon link, Arsenal want to offer Karim a starring role in the side and a nice pay package as well. However, the issue is that the London based club want to spend no more than €50million to hire his services but Real are demanding a fee of €80million for their prized asset.
In your opinion, is Benzema good enough to improve Arsenal?
