Arsenal may end up losing Alexis Sanchez in the winter transfer window and reports suggest that Real Madrid want to sign him.
The Chilean international was Arsenal’s best player last season and he will be out of contract next summer.
The North Londoners have been trying to agree a new deal with him for quite some time but have failed so far and he should be sold next month.
According to Don Balon, Real Madrid can sign Alexis for a bargain price and can even use him in the Champions League this season.
The interesting point mentioned by the Spanish source is that Real Madrid are ready to incorporate one of their attackers in the deal to do Arsenal a favor. It is claimed that the reigning European Champions are willing to offer Lucas Vazquez to Arsenal.
Yesterday, we covered a report (via Don Balon) claiming that the Los Blancos are prepared to offer the Spanish international, who has a release clause of €150million (via Sport), to Liverpool in order to somehow lure Salah from the Anfield club.
These reports suggest that Vazquez, who has only started 9 games in all competitions this season, is clearly unwanted at the Bernabeu. Still, he is a talented player, who could do well if provided the opportunity to play regular first team football. In your opinion, should Wenger sign Lucas?
