Arsenal will probably end up losing star playmaker Mesut Ozil in the upcoming winter transfer window and Arsene Wenger must replace the German international by signing a top quality attacker.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then the World Cup winning star is wanted by Spanish giants Barcelona, who are ready to secure his signing by offering Arda Turan to the North Londoners.
According to an exclusive report covered by Daily Star, the Gunners want 30 million pounds for Ozil and Barca are ready to offer the 30-year-old Turkish international in order to lure the former Los Blancos player.
Turan is a versatile talent, who can be deployed in any attacking position but is he good enough to replace Ozil?
The former Atletico Madrid star has won all the major Spanish titles. Last season, he started 20 times for Catalan giants and directly contributed in as many goals (13 goals and 7 assists).
This season, due to ongoing injury concerns, he has not been able to play even a single game. Arsenal were linked with a move for the Turkish star last month (Daily Mail). Turan’s current deal with the current La Liga leaders will expire in 2020 and it has release clause of €125million (Sport).
In your opinion, should Wenger complete the exchange deal with Barca to lure Arda?
