4-4-2: Liverpool’s Strongest Possible XI vs Everton

Liverpool are in fantastic form at the moment and they should be highly confident going into the fixture against Everton after defeating Spartak Moscow 7-0 at Anfield in the midweek.

As far as Klopp’s team news is concerned, Spanish international Alberto Moreno suffered an injury against the Russian side in the last game and he is out of the contest vs Everton as confirmed by the German manager himself.

Jurgen has been experimenting with the team’s formation lately. Normally, he likes to play the 4-3-3 system. However, in the last PL game vs Brighton, he opted to play 3 at the back. Then against Spartak, Liverpool played a 4-4-2 formation which proved to be devastating.

The former Dortmund boss should stick with the 4-4-2 setup against Everton. Here is Liverpool’s strongest possible XI vs the Toffees.

  1. IAN says:

Another game when the referee , not the players, makes the headlines with an atrocious and shockingly soft penalty call. That said, Liverpool should have already had enough distance between them that shocking decisions like was witnessed here, would not have such an impact on the game. But with that not withstanding, decisions like this, not only can affect this game’ s result, but thinking on a much broader scale, just might affect the team’s overall final placement in the table and with that, also cost them millions in lost revenue.
