Manchester United will collide against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Who will come out on top?
After losing against Huddersfield, United bounced back to beat Swansea in the league cup, Spurs in the PL and Benfica in the Champions League.
Jose Mourinho faced huge embarrassment when United visited Stamford Bridge last season. In that contest, Conte’s men destroyed the Old Trafford club 4-0 to earn all three points.
At the moment, the reigning PL champions are fourth in the table, 4 points behind Manchester United and 9 points behind league leaders Man City.
Not to forget, the Blues were hammered on Tuesday night by Italian giants Roma and they must beat United to bounce back.
The great news for Manchester United and their fans is that N’Golo Kante is not fully fit at the moment and there is a chance that he might not feature in the contest on Sunday (Independent).
Chelsea have badly missed the French international. He was influential in helping Leicester win the title in the 2015-16 campaign and was voted PFA Player of the Year after helping Chelsea win the title last season.
After selling Kante, the Foxes collapsed big time and Chelsea have not been able to perform at the optimum level in his absence as well. The 26-year-old midfielder has not played since September and Conte must not rush him back in the starting XI.
