Manchester United defeated Benfica in the Champions League on Tuesday night and will now prepare to battle against reigning PL champions Chelsea.
As far as the transfers are concerned, reports (via Daily Record) in the media suggested that Manchester United are one of the clubs who are interested in Celtic duo Moussa Dembele and Kieran Tierney.
If the latest reports are anything to go by then the Old Trafford club are favorites to hire the services of the talented duo.
Mirror have reported that the Red Devils are leading the race to sign the duo who could cost a combined fee of over 50 million pounds ($66million).
United were interested in signing a new left back in the summer transfer window but that did not happen. They really need someone who in the LB position who could serve the club in t he long run and Tierney would be a fantastic signing.
The 20-year-old starlet has already made 23 appearances for the Scottish champions this season, scored two goals and provided 4 assists.
As far as the strike-force is concerned, United splashed heavy cash to sign Romelu Lukaku in the summer transfer window and the Belgian has been brilliant under Mourinho. They also have the likes of Ibra and Rashford for the striking positions. In such a scenario, Jose does not really need another CF.
Still, Dembele is one of the most gifted young goalscorers around. He scored over 30 goals in the last campaign.
