Liverpool Want to Sign David Silva – Klopp Admires Him

The Reds need to strengthen their squad in the upcoming winter transfer window if they are to challenge for big prizes in the second half of the campaign.

As far as the latest transfer news is concerned, the Merseysiders are looking to sign a world class star in the form of Manchester City playmaker David Silva.

According to an exclusive report covered by the Sun, Liverpool and Italian side Inter Milan are planning sensational moves to hire the services of the Spanish international.

The British source have mentioned that Jurgen Klopp is a huge admirer of the 31-year-old star and wants him as an alternative to injured Adam Lallana.

Silva’s current contract with the Sky Blues will expire in 2019 and the Sun claim that Guardiola wants to hand him a 12-month extension. David currently earns around $209,000-a-week (Star).

In the absence of Kompany, the La Roja star has mainly captained the club this season and he has been in terrific form. In 15 appearances (all competitions), he has netted 1 goal and provided no fewer than 9 assists.
