Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United are eight points behind league leaders and neighbors Manchester City after suffering defeat at the hands of Chelsea last weekend.
The Red Devils started the season well but they have not been able to perform at the optimum level since Paul Pogba suffered a hamstring injury.
In the absence of the French international, Ander Herrera has failed to step up in the midfield. The good news for the fans is that Mourinho has confirmed that the likes of Pogba, Rojo and Ibra are in line to return for the busiest period of the season (Mirror).
Zlatan Ibrahimovic was United’s top scorer last season and Rojo was impressive under the management of Mourinho when fit.
The Portuguese tactician should utilize a new 4-3-1-2 when the trio return from their respective injuries. Ibra should partner big money summer signing Romelu Lukaku in the strike-force.
Pogba must return to start in the center of the park and Rojo should start in the left back position. Here is how Manchester United should line up with the trio.
