Manchester United splashed the cash and signed a top striker last summer by luring Belgian star Romelu Lukaku. The former Everton striker has started his Man United career in brilliant fashion.
If the latest reports are anything to go by then the Red Devils are interested in signing another forward in the form of Brazilian international and Santos sensation Yuri Alberto.
According to an exclusive report covered by the Sun, the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal are impressed by his talent and are looking to launch a move to hire his services next year.
The British source have mentioned that the youngster is valued at around 37.5million pounds ($49million) by Santos. Praising Alberto, a source told the Sun:
“He is the new star of Brazilian football. He is very exciting and a lot of teams are looking at him.”
“United and Arsenal are very keen on Yuri. They watched him when Brazil played in England earlier this year.”
The 16-year-old Samba starlet netted 51 goals in 35 youth matches for the Brazilian club in the last campaign.
As far as his international career is concerned, Yuri has so far scored twice in four appearances for the Brazilian U-17 side. In your opinion, should United meet the asking price to secure his signature?
