Man Utd Believe this is Needed to Agree Deal with Fellaini

As far as the transfers are concerned, Mourinho adequately strengthened his squad in the summer transfer window by luring top quality players and the results have been fruitful.

The Portuguese manager also made sure that he held on to his key players. He is a huge admirer of Marouane Fellaini and the Belgian international has stepped up big time this season.

In four starts in all competitions this campaign, the 29-year-old midfielder has scored four goals and provided one assist so far.

Fellaini’s current deal with the Old Trafford club will expire next summer and according to reports going in the media, United want to agree a new deal with him. For that, the Sun have exclusively claimed that the club will have to hand him a huge pay rise to seal the new deal.

Since his contract is going to expire next year, Marouane is allowed to talk to other clubs and agree a pre-contract for his next move. However, United want him to stay.

The British source have mentioned that United believe that they will have to up Fellaini’s current wages of $172,000-a-week to hold on to him. In your opinion, should Mourinho hand Fellaini a bumper new deal?
