Liverpool Very Interested in Signing Keylor Navas

Liverpool need to sort out their defense soon if they are to compete with the best of teams in the continent. Moreover, they need a top quality goal keeper as well.

Since the departure of Pepe Reina, the Merseysiders have lacked a consistent goalie. Not to forget, the Spaniard was signed by Benitez back in 2005.

At the moment, Mignolet is Liverpool’s first choice shot stopper. The Belgian goalie has got a fantastic record from spot kicks but overall, he has proved to be inconsistent.

In such a scenario, the Reds are looking to sign a new goal keeper and according to reports, they want Real Madrid star Keylor Navas.

According to Diario Gol, Klopp urgently needs a goalie and Liverpool are very interested in signing the Costa Rican star. One can always take a punt on who the club will sign to improve the squad and if you are looking for extra cash for betting then the no deposit free bets must be tried.

The Spanish source state that the 30-year-old is tired that every summer he is linked with a move away from the Los Blancos. In another report, Diario Gol have mentioned that Ronaldo wants Navas to be replaced.

At the moment, Keylor is out with a tear in the abductor muscle. His current contract with the reigning European Champions will expire in 2020 and it has a huge release clause of €200million (Sport).

Navas has the quality to solve the goalkeeping dilemma at Anfield and Klopp must splash the cash to sign him.

    No Latin goalkeeper has EVER succeeded over here apart, perhaps, from Gomez of Watford. City got one from Barca . . . but he didn’t like the physicality of our game and his so-called excellent footwork couldn’t outweigh the fact he couldn’t catch the ball. No, stay as far from South American keepers as you can get . . . and especially when they are thirty-plus! The chances of him coming out for a cross in our much more physical league is nil and he doesn’t even like coming for crosses in the gentile Spanish league.
