Club Ready to Offer $24million Star to Liverpool – Klopp Wants Him

Liverpool suffered a massive defeat against Spurs and are now 12 points behind league leaders Manchester City.
It will be fair to say that their title challenge is over and Klopp must once again focus on finishing in the top four.
As far as the transfers are concerned, the Merseysiders desperately need to strengthen their defense keeping in view that their goal difference is minus 2 after 9 games.
However, if the latest reports are anything to go by then the Reds are linked with a left winger in the form of Barcelona attacker Gerard Deulofeu.

According to Don Balon, the Spanish international has not been able to convince Valverde, who wants to sell him to Liverpool in a bid to sign Coutinho.
The Spanish source have mentioned that even Klopp is interested in signing the former Everton attacker, who is renowned for his speed and trickery.
In the absence of injured Ousmane Dembele, Gerard has regularly started for the Catalan giants this season, however, his stats are not impressive. In 10 appearances, he has only netted 2 goals and provided an assist.
Deulofeu’s current contract with Barca will expire in 2019 and it has a release clause (Mundo Deportivo) of 20 million euros ($24million). In your opinion, should Klopp sign him?

A big emphatic NO! He couldn’t hack it at Everton so the chances of him doing it at Liverpool are minimal. Mind you, this is the club who have been persevering with Mignolet, Moreno, Lovren, Henderson, Matip and Klavan for years so you’d expect us to seek average players . . .

Why continue signing winger, we are not short of them. We need an out and out striker and one left, right and central defenders and a reputable defensive link.
