Liverpool Offered Close to $107million to Sign Lemar

Liverpool were heavily linked with a move to sign Thomas Lemar in the summer transfer window but failed.
The 21-year-old left winger was in stunning form for Monaco last season. He scored 14 goals and provided 17 assists in all competitions.
Last night, the young left winger scored twice as the Les Bleus absolutely ripped the Netherlands apart (4-0).

According to today’s version of L’Equipe (pressreader), Liverpool made an offer close to 90 million euros ($107million) to secure the signing of Lemar but vice president of Monaco Vadim Vasilyev rejected the move.
The French source have mentioned that the Merseysiders tried to hire his services right until the final hours of the transfer window but were blocked.
Not to forget, the Spanish transfer window is still open for a few hours and Barca could try to lure Coutinho. However, it is highly unlikely that the Reds will sell this summer after failing to sign a replacement in the form of Thomas Lemar.
