Liverpool chased RB Leipzig star Naby Keita in the summer transfer window and eventually agreed a deal to sign him next year.
The Guinean international was brilliant for the Bundesliga side in the last campaign and helped the team qualify for the Champions League by directly contributing in 16 goals (8 goals and 8 assists).
This season, the 22-year-old African star has already netted two goals in four appearances for the German club.
Last night, Keita scored a fantastic long range goal against Hamburg but in the end, failed to finish the game and limped off the field due to injury.
RB Leipzig have confirmed via their official twitter account that the Liverpool bound star was not able to complete the game due to an adductor problem and the exact extent of the injury will be known after the diagnosis.
The German club will collide against Monaco in the UCL next week and Keita will miss the game if he does not recover in time.
