Man Utd Reps Flew Out to Watch $29million Star – Mourinho Must Sign

Manchester United do not have a quality backup for veteran right back Antonio Valencia and Mourinho must sign a long term replacement this summer.
A few top quality defender have been linked with the Red Devils and the latest name in the lime light is Portuguese international and Porto star Ricardo Pereira.
According to Portuguese source JN (press image provided below), the representatives of Manchester United and Tottenham recently flew out to watch the versatile star, who can effectively play in the right hand side of the midfield and also in the left back position.

The 23-year-old Seleccao star is a pacy wide player, who can effectively operate with both feet. He is not only solid at the back but also productive in the attack and therefore, Mourinho must splash the cash to sign him.
Ricardo featured in 24 league games for the Primeira Liga giants last season, scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists.
This season, Porto has so far played two league games and Ricardo took part in every minute of the contests without conceding a single goal.
Pereira’s current contract with Porto will expire in less than 2 years and as per JN, it has a release clause of only 25 million euros ($29million).
