Liverpool might be very busy in the final days of the transfer window as major reinforcements are needed to improve the quality and depth of the squad.
More than a few quality players are linked with the Merseysiders and one of them is Real Madrid star Karim Benzema.
Few days back, we covered a report (via Diario Gol) claiming that Liverpool are one of the clubs who have made an offer for the French striker and Perez is planning to sell Benzema to the Anfield club for a fee of €100million.
If the latest reports in the Spanish media are anything to go by then Liverpool could sign the former Lyon star because the Madrid president is looking to sign a top quality replacement.
According to Don Balon, Perez is worried about the club’s attacking department as it seems they will end up losing out on Mbappe. In such a scenario, he is ready to make a last minute offer to sign Paulo Dybala if Zidane agrees to let Benzema leave.
The Spanish source have mentioned that the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal are prepared to sign Madrid’s 29-year-old center forward.
Liverpool are scoring goals for fun this season but they do lack a world class out and out striker. In your opinion, should Klopp sign Benzema?
