Klopp Must Accept Offer to Sign €100million Star for Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp DortmundLiverpool have adequately reinforced their attack this summer by signing winger Mohamed Salah and striker Dominic Solanke. The duo have impressed big time in the pre-season for the Reds.
Star playmaker Coutinho is linked with a move to Barcelona and by now, we know that the Brazilian international wants to leave Liverpool and has told the owners about his desire to join the Catalan giants (ESPN).
Furthermore, Mundo Deportivo have claimed that Barca are going to offer Andre Gomes to Liverpool in a player plus cash deal to sign the former Inter Milan attacker. The report also mentioned that Klopp likes the La Liga star a lot.
In my opinion, Liverpool should sell Coutinho and hire the services of Gomes. There is no point in keeping him at Anfield against his will. An unhappy player might not be productive for the Merseysiders.

Moreover, Liverpool already have star playmakers like Mane and Salah who are going to start under the management of Klopp. The German boss mainly uses the 4-3-3 formation and in that setup, the likes of Firmino, Mane and Salah should form a brilliant attacking line.
Liverpool have so far failed in their pursuit to sign Naby Keita. Moreover, with Adam Lallana out injured for at least two months, the Reds desperately need to sign a top midfielder and a quality versatile star like Gomes would perfectly fit the bill. Therefore, Klopp must accept Barca’s offer and sign the Seleccao star.
Like Keita, the 24-year-old Portuguese international can operate anywhere in the midfield and can also support in the attacking third as well. In the last season, he only started 17 league games, scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists.
Gomes was influential in helping Portugal win the Euro 2016. He would like to play regular first team football to earn a place in the national squad for next year’s World Cup and Liverpool can provide him that opportunity. His current deal with Barcelona will expire in 2021 and it has a huge release clause of €100million in it (FCBarcelona).
