Liverpool have secured the signing of Mohamed Salah in the summer transfer window and they really do not need to sign another attacker at the moment.
However, Coutinho is linked with a move away from the club and if he departs then the Reds must sign a top attacker. According to latest reports going on in the media, the Reds are again linked with Inaki Williams.
According to Mundo Deportivo (press image provided below), Liverpool and Dortmund can have huge amounts of cash to spend if Barca opt to sign the likes of Coutinho and Dembele. In such a scenario, the Merseysiders and the Bundesliga club are looking at Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams, who has a release clause of €50million in his contract.
The Spanish source have mentioned that the 23-year-old winger was linked with Dortmund when Klopp was in charge of the club and after the German moved to Liverpool, Williams has been linked with the Reds as well.
Inaki can play on either flank and also as a center forward if needed. Last season, he featured in 49 games in all competitions for the La Liga side, scored 8 goals and also provided 8 assists. He made his senior international debut for Spain last year in May.
Mundo Deportivo have mentioned that Jurgen Klopp is enthusiastic about Williams since the Dortmund days and now he has another chance to sign him (for Liverpool).
