Manchester United are looking to sign an attacking midfielder before the closure of the summer transfer window and a few quality stars are linked.
Earlier in the day, we covered a report (via Don Balon) claiming that Mourinho is willing to splash the cash and sign Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.
Moreover, reports in France (SFR Sport) suggest that Jose wants Manchester United to sign Algerian international and Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez, however, the club are not fully convinced and therefore, we can expect the African star to stay with the Foxes this summer.
The 26-year-old playmaker became the first African star to win the PFA Player of the Year award after his brilliant performances helped Leicester win the title in the 2015-16 campaign.
After that, he opted to stay with the Foxes by signing a new deal (Telegraph) worth £100,000-a-week ($129,000-a-week). Last season, he was not able to impress much and could only score 10 goals in 48 appearances.
This season, he has so far featured in 3 games and provided 2 assists. Mahrez is a proven PL star, who can be deployed anywhere in the attacking midfield. He has got a magical left foot and the quality to improve Mourinho’s offense.
In your opinion, should United sign Riyad Mahrez?
