Arsenal have already conceded 8 goals in three Premier League games this season and Arsene Wenger is looking to strengthen the back line.
According to an exclusive report covered by the Telegraph, the North Londoners have entered the race to sign former Manchester United star Jonny Evans, who currently plays for West Brom.
The British source have mentioned that Arsenal have contacted the Baggies and are going to challenge Manchester City for the 29-year-old center half.
It is also stated that the Albions are demanding at least a fee worth 30 million pounds ($39million) for their prized asset.
The Northern Irish defender featured in 31 league games for West Brom last season, scored 2 goals and provided 1 assist. He is an experienced star, who has won the Premier League title three times with the Red Devils.
As far Arsenal’s defense is concerned, Wenger has got stars like Mustafi, Monreal, Mertesacker, Koscielny and Holding that he mainly uses in his three man back line. In your opinion, is Evans good enough to strengthen the team?
