Virgil Van Dijk Expected to Sign for Liverpool

Liverpool have been linked with Dutch international and Southampton star Virgil van Dijk all summer long.
The transfer saga has taken many twists and as per the latest update provided by Sky Sports, a source close to the former Celtic central defender expects him to agree Liverpool move before the transfer window ends next month.
The 26-year-old defender is one of the best defenders in the Premier League and he was rock solid for the Saints in the last campaign before getting injured in the month of January.

Liverpool have so far signed Andrew Robertson to strengthen their defense but we can expect the Scottish player to play as Klopp’s second choice left back.
Next season, if the Merseysiders start with the same back line as they did in the last campaign then the fans will go absolutely furious.
The Anfield club desperately need a strong central defender and they must splash the cash to hire the services of Van Dijk no matter what. Virgil’s current deal with Southampton runs until 2022 and he earns €72,000-a-week (Daily Star).
